About Us

Just Be Tees is a small family owned business that was started in Spring 2005 by Laurel & Jared Tinney. A conversation about dreams, visions, and combining our talents, ideas, and resources led us to create a couple designs and start a website, as well as offer our designs at local and national events.

Laurel has a background in healing work from a career as Occupational Therapist and years of training as a vibrational healer, Life Coach, and workshop facilitator bridging both conventional and alternative modalities. She also has creative and artistic skills in multimedia, having spent many years selling items at craft shows, shops, and Renaissance Festivals. In addition, Laurel co-owned and managed a printing, sign, and graphic design shop for several years.

Jared has been working with computers from a very young age and has a degree in computer programming. He handles the technical aspects of the website and shirt production. Jared has also created several of the designs we offer.

We are fulfilling a vision of creating a line of primarily positive, uplifting, and inspirational wearable and usable art and sayings, with heart and soul - shirts expressing the ‘real you’. Our goal is to offer unique t-shirts and tote bags that are something different than what you'd find in local stores.
